Dream About Pressure Chest Suffocation
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

In the dream I immediately felt like I couldn't breathe because of how much pressure was on my chest. Turns out that I was lying on the floor and there were people standing their full weight on top of me. Like a crowd of people and me lying on the floor. The people seemed to notice o was there, but didn't care that their full body weight was suffocating and hurting me. They almost seemed amused that I was trying to pry their feet from my chest and that I was desperately trying to break free. Eventually with the strength I had, I started to shout, and that gained the attention of a skinny old man. He grabbed my hair, and started to shave the top of it, but leaving just enough for a pony tail in the middle of my scalp so "I wouldn't run away". I was unsure on what that meant. Afterwards I was put into a chamber, which seemed to be my newfound bedroom. And several days afterwards I was taken from the room to be put on the floor so people could walk over me while I feel like I'm dying. And when I feel like I'm about to pass out from too much pressure on my chest and stomach, the old man takes me by my ponytail and throws me back into my room. I find a small cubby in my closet and it seems to lead into a small overview of a large domain underneath. With carousels and many decor, resembling the House on the Rock. Very detailed doll carousel, and the village you walk through located in the building. I carefully try to find an exit to this viewing space, when I hear a girl's voice, and seem to feel like it's not safe to be where I currently am, so I pull back into my room and shut the cubby door. I ponder if it's worth it to try and hide it escape from these people, since there will probably be gruelling punishments if I get caught. Eventually I decide against it, and I awake.

Harmonie, your dream is a vivid and intense representation of the pressures you are currently experiencing in your waking life. The sensation of not being able to breathe and being crushed by a crowd of people symbolizes the overwhelming stress and anxiety you often feel. This imagery suggests that you are under immense pressure, possibly from external sources such as societal expectations, personal responsibilities, or interpersonal relationships. The fact that the people in your dream seem indifferent to your suffering could reflect feelings of neglect or not being understood by those around you. The appearance of the skinny old man who shaves part of your hair and leaves a ponytail 'so you wouldn't run away' adds a layer of control and manipulation. This figure might represent a person or a situation in your life that you feel is restricting your freedom and autonomy. The act of shaving your hair can be seen as a loss of identity or a sense of being stripped of your individuality. This part of the dream underscores a struggle with power dynamics and the feeling of being dominated or controlled by an external force. Being placed in a chamber that becomes your bedroom highlights a sense of entrapment and confinement. This could be a reflection of your current mental state, where you feel trapped in a cycle of stress and pressure without a clear way out. The recurring scenario of being put on the floor to be walked over and then thrown back into your room when you are about to pass out further emphasizes the relentless nature of the stress you are under. It suggests a repetitive cycle of suffering and temporary relief, only to be plunged back into the same distressing situation. The discovery of the cubby that leads to an overview of a large domain with carousels and decor resembling the House on the Rock introduces a glimmer of escape or an alternate reality. This part of the dream might signify a desire for a different, more enchanting life, or a longing for a place where you can find solace and freedom from your current struggles.
