Dream About Friend Driving Car Nightmare
Analyze my dream

This dream was about

I was in the car with my best friend from work. I was in the backseat, she was driving, and her fiance was in the passenger seat. I was assuming I was going to her place but I was unsure. I went to sleep in the dream, and woke back up just to see the car barreling down the road towards people in the crosswalk. I scream her name, in case that was going to do something, but it turns out that she was now in the passenger seat and her fiance was driving. He didn't slow down or try to avoid the people until the last possible second. I was screaming for my life, as my friend just woke up as well. She seemed to be yelling at him more fiercely, and you can see his eyes as he just sighs and jolts the car away from the crosswalk. I was in shock but it seems like this type of behavior isn't new according to my friend's reaction. One we get to their house, I was greeted with snarky remarks from the fiance and my friend trying to control him. I was trying not to cause any more issues by telling them that they don't need to feed me, but of course my friend was against starving me. It was a very awkward visit. She sighed and let me leave. A bit while later I visited again, but this time with many more people. Seemed like a party of sorts. I saw my friend was trying her best to control the situation but I could see fear in her eyes, like hoping that her fiance won't spoil it. I wanted to try and stay but I had things to do. I went to my boyfriend and we left. I looked over when I was driving and I saw him playing my favorite game on his computer. I was like "why'd you start to play this again? I know you hated playing it with me". He half shrugged and kept playing the game. Once we got home, I started playing the game too, but he didn't want to play it me. It seemed like he was in a group of random people and playing their game, but not letting me join. So I tried to join the same 'game' (session) they did, but from my computer. I tried to find them once I got in but I couldn't. Once I got in, I hid in an old mine building, since I didn't get to grab any useful weapons or items to help my survival in the game. I saw people under me, and people above me, but I was unsure on how to get there. There were teeny tiny ledges and holes that maybe a small child could fit through, but then again there was no definitive was down or up. Finally I just broke a wall and found a hallway. I tried to walk up the stairs but at the very top of the steps was a ledge to look outwards, and there stood a super cramped old colorful animatronic skeleton. I thought it was dead but it looked at me through glowing eyes. I tried to hide my fear but I knew if I climbed the stairs any higher, that it might follow me. Instead I went down the stairs, turning my back every corner, and warning others of it on their way up. Of course no one believed me, but it soothed my soul knowing I tried. Eventually I found my boyfriend in the old circus tent. I saw my cats with him, but it seemed like one was missing. He didn't seem to care, he just wanted out of the game himself, but I had to find the cat. I was running searching for the cat, but it was no where to be found. Then I awoke. It's good to note that I have never seen my friend or her fiance in pictures or real life before. Seems like my dream filled their pictures in for me.

Harmonie, your dream is rich with symbolism and emotional cues that reflect your inner state. Starting with the car ride, being in the backseat signifies a lack of control in certain aspects of your life. Your best friend and her fiancé represent significant figures or situations where you feel a lack of influence or power. The chaotic drive and the near collision with people in the crosswalk could symbolize your fear of impending danger or chaos that you feel helpless to prevent. Screaming and the subsequent switch of drivers highlight your anxiety and the unpredictable nature of the situations you're facing. The snarky remarks and awkwardness at your friend's house suggest tension and discomfort in your relationships, possibly pointing to real-life interactions where you feel out of place or unwelcome. When you revisit your friend’s house during a party, the fear in her eyes and her attempts to control the situation are reflective of your own struggles with keeping things under control amid stress and anxiety. Your departure with your boyfriend underscores a need for support and companionship in navigating these turbulent emotions. The scene where your boyfriend plays your favorite game alone, despite previously disliking it, may indicate feelings of exclusion or a lack of connection in your relationship. His indifference to your shared activities might be mirroring a sense of disconnection or unreciprocated efforts in your waking life. The transition into the game world, hiding in an old mine, and the presence of the animatronic skeleton are rich with metaphorical meaning. The mine represents a place of retreat but also of confinement, where you feel trapped and unprepared. The animatronic skeleton with glowing eyes symbolizes a lurking fear or an unresolved issue that you feel is always watching you, ready to pounce if you venture too close. Your decision to warn others, despite them not believing you, shows your internal struggle of trying to convey your fears and anxieties to others who may not understand or acknowledge them. Finally, finding your boyfriend in the circus tent with your cats, but one being missing, points to a sense of incompleteness or loss. Cats often symbolize independence and comfort, and the missing cat could represent a part of you that feels lost or neglected. Your boyfriend's desire to exit the game while you continue to search for the missing cat highlights a divergence in your emotional needs and priorities. This dream encapsulates a spectrum of emotions from fear, anxiety, and helplessness to a deep-seated need for understanding and connection. Harmonie, your dream is a vivid portrayal of the complexities you're navigating in your waking life, and it's crucial to address these feelings in a way that brings you comfort and clarity.
