Liminal Spaces

Liminal Spaces

Some speculate that certain civilizations built their architecture with dreams and the astral realms in mind, creating what are now often referred to as “liminal spaces” or “backrooms”.

This is done by creating very large, empty spaces that evoke a sense of being out of place and time. Building these structures across different parts of the world would theoretically allow shamans, sages, and dreamers to traverse the astral realms more easily and even meet and discuss among each other in dreamtime.

This effect seems to continue to happen today, albeit not intentionally so, as with abandoned malls, schools, office buildings, etc.
